Full Definition

نكّرهُII , (Verbal.Noun تَنْكِيرٌ, Msb,) He changed, or altered, him or it, to an unknown state, so as not to be known; [he disguised him or it.] It is said in the Kur, [xxvii. 41,] نَكِّرُوا لَهَا عَرْشَهَا Alter ye her throne so that it may not be known to her. See also 4, last signification but one.
