وَاعِظٌ

Full Definition

وَاعِظٌ [One who exhorts, admonishes, warns, or puts in fear:] one who exhorts to obedience; who commands to obey: one who gives good advice, or counsel; [who reminds of the results of affairs; &c.: and a preacher of a sermon or sermons: see 1:] and in like manner وَعَّاظٌ [one who exhorts, &c., much, or frequently]: pl. of the former وُعَّاظٌ.
