وَجَرَهُI , and وَجَرَهُ دَوَآ, [or وَجُورًا,] Present.T يَجِرُهُ, Verbal.Noun وَجْرٌ; and , [which is the more common,] and اوجرهُ دَوَآءٌ, or وَجُورًا, Verbal.Noun إِيجَارٌ; He put, or poured, medicine into his mouth; into any part of his mouth: or into the middle of his mouth: or into his fauces: with a مِيجَرَة: and اوجرهُ المَآءَ [he poured the water into his mouth: or into the middle of his mouth: or into his fauces].
2 وَجَرَهُ الرُّمْحَ; or الرُّمْحَ, which latter only is allowable; or the latter is what is commonly known, but the former may be a dial. form thereof; and أَوْجَرَهُ بِالرُّمْحِ; He pierced him in his mouth with the spear: or in his breast, or chest: and وَجَرَهُ بِالسَّيْفِ, Verbal.Noun وَجْرٌ, occurs in a trad., signifying, he pierced him with the sword.
3 And in like manner you say, الغَيْظَ [app. He infused into him wrath, or rage].
4 Also, وَجَرَهُ, Present.T يَجِرُهُ, Verbal.Noun وَجْرٌ, He made him to hear what he disliked, or hated: but the form commonly known is , as A 'Obeyd says.
