وَطَدَI

وطّد , Verbal.Noun تَوْطِيدٌ; He made a thing constant, firm, steady, steadfast, fast, or established.
2 وَطَدَ, Present.T يَطِدُ, Verbal.Noun وَطْدٌ and طِدَةٌ; and وطّد , Verbal.Noun تَوْطِيدٌ; He, or it, pressed upon a thing heavily; syn. ثَقَّلَ.
3 وَطَدَهُ إِلَيْهِ He drew and pressed him to him; hugged him.
