وَفْزٌ and وَفَزٌ Haste: pl. أَوْفَازٌ. You say, نَحْنُ عَلَى أَوْفَازٍ, and عَلَى وَفَزٍ, We are in haste: or we are on a journey; [like عَلَي أَوْفَادٍ;] the time of our journeying has come. And لَقِيتُهُ عَلَى أَوْفَازٍ, and عَلَى وَفَزٍ, I found him in a state of haste: or preparing [his apparatus for travel].
