وَفْضَةٌ

Full Definition

وَفْضَةٌ A pastor's [bag of the kind called] خَرِيطَة, for his implements and provisions, which he carries therein.
2 And hence, as being likened thereto, A [quiver of the kind called] جَعْبَة, or a thing like the جَعْبَة. for arrows, of skins, or hides, in which is no wood: or [a quiver] smaller than the جعبة, having its upper and lower parts of equal size: the جعبة is round and wide, and has a cover on the top, over its mouth: [see the latter word:] pl. وِفَاضٌ and وَفَضَاتٌ.
3 Also, A thing like a quiver (كِنَانَة), of small size, in which a man of the class called أَوْفَاض puts his food.
4 Also, The small depression between the two mustaches, beneath the nose, of a man.
