مَيْثَاءُ
Even, or plain, or soft, land: pl. مِيثٌ: you say, أَرْضٌ مَيْثَآءُ, and أَرَاضٍ مِيثُ: [see also مِيثَآءُ, in art. موث:] an even, or a plain, or soft, tract of sand: and a hill of good soil: and a [water-course such as is called] تَلْعَة, that becomes as large as half, or twothirds, of the valley.
