ـُ Verbal.Noun سَلَاطَةٌ, He, or it, overcame, prevailed, or predominated: or was, or became, firm, or established, in superior power or force: he possessed power of dominion or sovereignty or rule.

And the same verb, Verbal.Noun as above and سُلُوطَةٌ, He was, or became, chaste, or perspicuous, in speech, or eloquent, and sharp in tongue: or long-tongued;; as also سَلِطَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun سَلَطٌ: or clamorous and foultongued: [or this verb, said of a man, has the first of these three significations; but] سَلُطَتْ, Verbal.Noun سَلَاطَةٌ, signifies she was, or became, long-tongued, and vehemently clamorous.
