عِكَاسٌ The cord which is tied in the fore part of the nose, or mouth, of a camel, [and attached] to his fore legs, or to the pastern of [each of] his fore legs, to render him submissive, or tractable: the cord mentioned in explanations of عَكَسَ البَعِيرَ [q. v.].
