Full Definition

أتّىII , or المَآءَ, or both, Verbal.Noun تَأْتِيَةٌand تَأْتِىٌّ, He smoothed, made easy, or prepared, (سَهَّلَ, S, K, or هَيَّأَ, T,) the way, course, passage, or channel, of the water, in order that it might pass forth to a place; he directed a channel for it so that it ran to the places wherein it rested or remained. And أتّى لِأَرْضِهِ أَتِيَّا He made a rivulet, or a channel for water, to run to his land.
2 أتّى اللّٰهُ لِفُلَانٍ أَمْرَهُ, Verbal.Noun تَأْتِيَةٌ, God prepared, disposed, arranged, or put into a good or right state, [and thus rendered feasible or practicable or easy,] for such a one, his affair.
