أَحْلَى

أَحْلَى[ More, and most, sweet, both properly and metaphorically:] حُلْوَى is [its fem.,] the contr. of مُرَّى: you say, خُذِ الحُلْوَى وَأَعْطِهِ المُرَّى [Take thou the sweeter, or sweetest, and give to him the bitterer, or bitterest].
