أَحْوَذَIV , Verbal.Noun إِحْوَاذٌ: see 1, in four places.
1 احوذ ثَوْبَهُ He gathered together his garment, and drew it to him.
2 احوذ القِدْحَ [in some copies of the K القَدَحَ He (a workman, صَانِع [in some copies of the K صَائغ]) made the arrow light, by scraping or paring it: a phrase used by Lebeed, in describing the arrow termed المَنِيح.
