[Like a lion;] bold; daring; as also
أَسِيدٌ and
مُتَأَسِّدٌ [and
مُسْتَأْسِدٌ ]. You say أَسَدٌ أَسِدٌ [A bold, or fierce, lion], adding the latter word to give intensiveness of signification.
