أُكْرَةٌ A hollow, or cavity, dug in the ground, in which water collects, and from which it is baled out clear: pl. أُكَرٌ.

def.2 Also a dial. var. of كُرَةٌ, [A ball] with which one plays: [and a sphere, or globe:] but it is of weak authority.
