أَيْأَسَهُIV , Verbal.Noun إِيَاسٌ, of the same measure as كِتَابٌ, originally إِيْآسٌ, like إِيْعَاسٌ, and إِيْمَانٌ, He made him to despair: or to cut off hope: or to cease to have hope: مَنْ كَذَا of such a thing: as also آيَسَهُ [from أَيِسَ].
2 [Hence,] أَيْأُسَهَا ٱللّٰهُ God made her to be, or become, barren.
