إِسْبٌ The hair of the pubes: or of the pudendum: or of the podex: it may be, or is said to be, from وِسْبٌ, which signifies “ herbage, ” or “ plants, ” or “ abundance of herbage: ” the و being changed into ء, as in the case of إِرْتق and وِرْثٌ: pl. أُسُوبٌ, and, accord. to IJ, آسَابٌ.
