إكَادٌ sing. of أَكَائِدٌ and تَآكِيدٌ, both of which are irreg. in relation to their sing., signifying Thongs, or straps, by which the قَرَبُوس is bound to the two side-boards of a horse's saddle. [See also وِكَادٌ.]
