ابتردVIII He washed himself with cold water: and likewise, or ابتردالمَآءَ, he drank water to cool his liver: or the latter signifies he poured the water cold upon himself, meaning, upon his head: and تبرّد بِالْمَاءِ, and ابترد, he washed himself with water, or with the water.
