He ruffled his feathers by reason of the cold.
2 He became angry, and prepared himself for fighting.
3 It became tall, and tangled, or luxuriant, or abundant and dense: or became tall (اِهْتَزَّ, q. v.), and such as might be grasped with the hand.
4 It became ruffled.
