ـُ Verbal.Noun أُجُولٌ, signifies the same. [See آجِلٌ and أَجَلٌ. The primary signification seems to be, It had a term, or period, appointed for it, at which it should fall due, or
come to pass.]
def.2 أَجَلَهُ, Present.T ـِ Verbal.Noun أَجُلٌ; and , Verbal.Noun تَأْجِيلٌ; and آجلهُ , Verbal.Noun مُؤَاجَلَةٌ; He confined, restricted, restrained, withheld, debarred, hindered, or prevented, him. Hence the phrase, أَجَلُوا مَالَهُمْ They confined, restricted, &c., their cattle from the pasturage.
