quasi-pass. of حَبَسَهُ; He, or it, was or became, confined, restricted, limited, &c.; and he confined, restricted, limited, &c., himself; [as also

2 Said of urine [as meaning It became suppressed]. (S and Msb in art. حقب; &c.)
def.2 احتبسهُ syn. with حَبسَهُ, which see, in two places.
