احضنIV He made the bird to sit [or brood] upon the eggs.
2 أَحْضَنَهُ مِنْهُ: see 1.
3 احضن بِحَقِّى He went away with, or took away, my right, or due; as though he put it by his side.
4 احضن الرَّجُلَ, and احضن بِهِ, i. q. أَزْرَى بِهِ [He held him in little, or light, or mean, estimation, or in contempt; &c.].
