احمّهُIV
as syn. with حَمَّهُ and حَمَّمَهُ: see 1, in two places.
2 Also He washed him with حَمِيم [i.e. hot water]. And احمّ نَفْسَهُ He washed himself with cold water, accord. to IAar: but accord. to others, with hot water; as also حَمَّ نَفْسَهُ: and حُمُومٌ [is an Verbal.Noun of حَمَّ, and] signifies the washing oneself; but is of a vulgar dialect.
3 He caused him to have, or be sick of, a fever.
4 It rendered him anxious, disquieted him, or grieved him; syn. أَهَمَّهُ; as also . And أُحِمَّ He was affected with confusion, perplexity, fear, impatience, disquietude, or agitation, and anxiety, or grief.

The object of want became near; and both are mentioned by Fr. And احمّ قُدُومُهُمْ and اجمّ
Their coming drew near. The Kilábeeyeh says, احمّ رَحِيلُنَا فَنَحْنُ سَائِرُونَ غَدًا [Our departure has drawn near, and we are going tomorrow]: and اجمّ رحيلنا فنحن سائرون اليَوْمَ [Our departure is determined upon, and we are going to-day]; meaning we have determined upon our going to-day.
