ادحضIV , Verbal.Noun إِدْحَاضٌ, He made a man's foot, and a man, to slip; as also .
2 It made a place slippery.
3 He annulled, or rendered null or void, an argument, a plea, an allegation, or an evidence: he rebutted it; as also , Verbal.Noun دَحْضٌ. Thus in the Kur [xviii. 54, and xl. 5], لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الحَقَّ That they may, or might, rebut thereby the truth.
