اِدَّعَمَVIII
, originally اِدْتَعَمَ, He supported, propped, or stayed, himself upon it; i. e., عَلَى عَصًا [upon a staff, or stick]. Hence, اِدَّعَمَ عَلَى
رَاحَتَيْهِ فِى السُّجُودِ [He supported himself by resting upon the palms of his hands in prostration].
2 [Hence also,] أَنَا أَدَّعِمُ عَلَيْهِ فِى أُمُورِى
