ارهفهُIV , Verbal.Noun إِرْهَافٌ; and , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun رَهْفٌ; He made it thin, or sharp or pointed; he made it thin in the edge or point; he made it sharp, or keen.
2 [Hence,] أَرْهَفْتَ عَلَيْنَا لِسَانَكَ [Thou hast sharpened against us thy tongue]. And أَرْهِفْ غَرْبَ ذِهْنِكَ لِمَا أَقولُ [Sharpen the edge of thine intellect for what I say].
