أَزَقَI , Present.T ـِ; and أَزِقَ, Present.T ـَ; Verbal.Noun أَزْقٌ, and أَزَقٌ, or the latter is used by poetic licence for the former; He, or it, became strait, or straitened; أَزْقٌ being thus syn. with أَزْلٌ: or it became straitened in war or fight; or he became straitened in his bosom or mind, in war or fight: as also , with respect to both these significations; or this signifies it became strait, or straitened; like تأزّل; and signifies the same as تأزّق. [See also 10.]
