استجلسهُX [He asked him, or desired him, to sit: or to sit up.]. You say, رَآنِى قَائِمًا فَٱسْتَجْلَسَنِى [He saw me standing, and he asked me, or desired me, to sit]: but this is at variance with what we have mentioned in the beginning of the art., respecting the distinction [between جَلَسَ and قَعَدَ].
