Full Definition

اضحكهُIV , Verbal.Noun إِضْحَاكٌ, said of God, or of a man, He made him, or caused him, to laugh.
2 [Hence,] اضحك الضَّبُعَ, said of blood, or of the sword, [It made the hyena to display her teeth; or to snarl, displaying her teeth: or to rejoice: but explained as meaning] it made the hyena to menstruate.
3 And اضحك الحَوْضَ He filled the wateringtrough so that it overflowed: its glistening being likened to laughing.
