2 [And It, or he, made it, or him, to be crooked, or curved; and so ضلّعهُ ; for] الإِضْلَاعُ and التَّضْلِيعُ signify also التَّعْوِيجُ.
3 [Hence,] one says also, أَضْلَعَتْهُ الخُطُوبُ, meaning
