اِعْتَمَاهُVIII
He chose it, selected it, or preferred it; syn. اِخْتَارَهُ; i. e., a thing; formed by transposition from اِعْتَامَهُ [mentioned in art. عيم].
2 And i. q. قَصَدَهُ [i. e. He tended, betook himself, or directed himself or his course or aim, to, or towards, him, or it; &c.]; like اِعْتَامَهُ. (TA in art. عيم.)
