i. q.
تَرَكَ: you say, أَفْثَجَنِى, meaning He left, or relinquished, me, (تَرَكَنِى,) and left me alone: and so افسج عَنِّى. (Thus in the O in art. فسج.)
def.2 Also, accord. to Ks, like أَفْثَأَ, and so أُفْثِجَ, this last, in the pass. form, mentioned by IAar, He was, or became, tired, and out of breath, from running.
