افحشIV
, or افحش فِى المَنْطِقِ, or فِى الكَلَامِ, or فِى كَلَامِهِ, Verbal.Noun إِفْحَاشٌ and
فُحْشٌ , accord. to Lh and Kr, but the latter is correctly a simple subst. [used as an Verbal.Noun of this verb], He uttered
فُحْش, i. e., foul, evil, bad, abominable, unseemly, [gross, immodest, lewd, or obscene,] speech or language; as also
فى المنطق, and فحّش فى الكلام, or فى كلامه, and تفحّش فى كلامه: and
also signifies the same; and he manifested, discovered, or revealed, or he made a show of, such speech or language. You say, افحش عَلَيْهِ فِى المَنْطِقِ [He uttered such speech or language against him]; and in like manner, , and
فحّش ; and تفحّش عَلَيْهِ بِلِسَانِهِ.
