Full Definition

الحَيْدَرَةُ The lion; as also , and حَيْدَرٌ , without ال, and : or the lion that is, among other lions, like the king among men; because of the thickness of his neck, and the strength of his fore legs.
2 Also حَيْدَرَةٌ Destruction, or perdition; and so حَادُورٌ : or a severe calamity; as though it were a lion in its severity.
