الدَّوَالِيكُ The act of urging, or pressing forward, and striving, (تَحَفُّزٌ,) in gait, or pace, and parting the legs widely (تَحَيُّكٌ) [therein]; as also . A poet uses the phrase يَمْشِى الدَّوَالِيكَ [Walking, or going, with urging, &c.]. [See also دَوَالَيْكَ, in art. دول.]
