الفِضَالُIII
[and المُفَاضَلَةُ inf. ns. of فَاضَلَ] and
[Verbal.Noun of 6 (of which see an ex. in art. سوى, conj. 6,)] signify التَّمَازِى فِى الفَضْلِ [i. e. The contending for superiority in excellence]; التَّمَازِى being of the measure تَفَاعُل from المَزِيَّةُ. And you say, فَاضَلْتُهُ , (S, O, K, * in the last فَاضَلَنِى,) Present.T of the latter
