امصّهُIV [He made him to suck: or he gave him to suck]. You say أَمْصَصْتُهُ المَآءَ or الشَّىْءَ [I made him to suck, or I gave him to suck, the water, or the thing].
2 He said to him يَا مَصَّانُ, q. v. You say, هُوَ يُمِصُّهُ وَيُبَظِّرُهُ. (K, art. بظر, which see in the present work.)
