انسحبVII It was, or became, dragged, or drawn along, upon the ground: said of one's skirt, or of a thing, such as a garment &c.
2 [Hence,] اِنْسَحَبَتْ فِيهَا ذَلَاذِلُ الرِّيحِ [The skirts of the wind were, or became, dragged upon it, i. e., upon the ground (الأَرْض), so as to efface the traces upon it].
