Full Definition

اهمدIV , Verbal.Noun إِهَمَادٌ, He stilled, or quieted.
2 He killed, or destroyed, a man, or men.
3 اهمد الأَمْرَ He put an end to the affair.
4 اهمد القَحْطُ الأَرْضَ Drought rendered the land sterile, so that it contained no herbage but such as was dried up and broken.
5 اهمد, (Verbal.Noun إِهْمَادٌ, K.) He kept silence in an unpleasant case.
6 اهمد, Verbal.Noun إِهْمَادٌ, He remained, continued, stayed, abode, or dwelt, in a place: he was still; i. e., did not move.
