بَاهِرٌ [act. part. n. of 1, Overcoming; &c. And particularly,] Overcoming in light. [Hence,] قَمَرٌ بَاهِرٌ A moon that overcomes with its light the light of the stars. And البَاهِرُ The moon; because it outshines the stars: or the full moon.
