بَرْبَارٌ
One who talks much, and raises a clamour, or confused noise, with his tongue: who cries, or cries out, and talks in anger, or talks confusedly, with anger and aversion: who vociferates much; as also
بُرْبُرٌ : and
بَرْبَرِىٌّ signifies one who talks much and unprofitably.
2 البَرْبَارُ The lion; as also المُبَرْبِرُ : because of the confused noise that he makes, and his aversion and anger.
3 دَلْوٌ بَرْبَارٌ A bucket that makes a noise in the water.
