بَرَوْتُهَاI , i. e. النَّاقَةَ: see 4.

def.2 بَرَوْتُهُ, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun بَرْوٌ, I formed it, or fashioned it, by cutting; shaped it out; or pared it; namely, a reed for writing, and a stick, or piece of wood, and an arrow, [&c.;] a dial. var. of بَرَيْتُهُ, used by some, but the latter is the more approved: mentioned by AZ.
2 [Hence, perhaps,] بَرَاهُ, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun بَرْوٌ, He created him, or it: [but] they affirm that it is originally بَرَأَهُ, with hemz: so says IAth: or it is from بَرًا or بَرًى, signifying “dust,” or “earth.”

def.3 بَرَا, Present.T ـُ is also a bad dial. var. of بَرَأَ [signifying He, or it, recovered from disease, or became convalescent, &c.], Present.T يَبْرُؤُ.
