Hateful; odious; and object of hatred: hated; as also
بَغُوضٌ and
مُبْغَضٌ : pl. of the first, بُغَضَآءُ.
2 Some say that it has also the contr. signification of Hating; i. q. مُبْغِضٌ : and Skr explains بِغْضَةٌ as signifying people hating thee.
