تَحْسِينٌ a subst. of the measure تَفْعِيلٌ; or rather an Verbal.Noun used as a subst.; pl. تَحَاسِينُ: whence كِتَابُ التَّحَاسِينِ [Caligraphy; or] deliberate, orderly, and regular writing; [or close and compact writing, without spaces, or gaps, and without elongation of the letters;] contr. of المَشْقُ.
