تركّنV said of a man, [or primarily and properly, of a thing, like رَكُنَ,] He, [or it] was, or became, firm, or strong, and inaccessible, or difficult of access.
2 And [hence,] He endeavoured, or constrained himself, to be grave, staid, steady, sedate, or calm; syn. تَوَقَّرَ, and تَرَزَّنَ.
