Full Definition

ترنّحV He inclined from side to side, by reason of intoxication &c; as also , and [app. a mistranscription for رُنِّحَ]. He inclined, and went round.
2 It inclined from side to side, being blown by the wind.
3 ترنّح بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ He wavered between two things.
4 ترنّح عَلَى فُلَانٍ He was, or became, inimical to such a one, domineering, and exalting himself.
5 And ترنّح He sipped wine (شَرَاب) by little and little.
