تسقّطهُV He sought his mistake, or error: he strove, or laboured, to make him commit a mistake, or an error; or to make him lie; or to make him reveal what he had to tell; as also ; in the copies of the K, , which is a mistake.
2 تسقّط الخَبَرَ He took, or received, the news, or information, by little and little; thing after thing: mentioned by Aboo-Turáb, on the authority of Abu-l-Mikdám EsSulamee.
