تشاكسواVI They treated, or behaved towards, one another with hardness, harshness, or illnature; or disagreed, one with another; in buying or selling: or they treated, or behaved towards, one another with contrariety, or opposition. [Hence,] اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ يَتَشَاكَسَانِ The night and the day are opposed to each other: or alternate.
