Full Definition

تَشَيَّعَV see 1, in two places.
2 تشيّع said of a man, He asserted himself to hold the tenets of the شِيعَة [q. v.]: or he became a شِيَعِىّ: a verb similar to تَحَنَّفَ and تَشَفَّعَ.

def.2 [Accord. to Golius, it is expl. in the KL as meaning He left a portion of a thing undistributed: but this explanation is not in my copy of that work.]
2 تشيّع فِى الشَّىْءِ He strove, or laboured, or he distressed himself, or he courted death, (اِسْتَهْلَكَ,) in his love of the thing.

def.3 تشيّعهُ الغَضَبُ Anger excited him to lightness, levity, or unsteadiness; or flurried, or disquieted, him.
