تَضَرَّجَV see 7, in four places.
2 تضرّج also signifies It became smeared, daubed, or defiled, with blood, or with something similar thereto, that was red, or with something yellow.
3 And تضرّج الخَدُّ The cheek became red, on an occasion of shame. You say, كَلَّمْتُهُ فَتَضَرَّجَ خَدَّاهُ I spoke to him and his cheeks became red.
4 And تضرّجت المَرْأَةُ The woman displayed her finery, or ornaments, and beauties of person or form or countenance, to men, and embellished herself.
